The process starts with the incoming control of sunflower seeds at our laboratory. In the elevator, we separate (clean) seeds from various impurities. We call the next stage – seed hulling it separate the seeds from the shells to get sunflower meal. Then sunflower seeds are roasted at a temperature of 100 – 110° С.
This technology allows the most effective squeezing of the pressed oil. One of the most responsible processes is pressing when we get unrefined cold-pressed sunflower oil and sunflower oil cake used for further extraction. Before the oil is refined, we have sunflower oil cake extraction and filtration of all fractions of pressed oil which allows us to further clean oil from seed particles and other small fractions.
The oil goes through five technology department stages:
1. Water hydration, separations, and vacuum-dried
2. Acid hydration, and alkaline neutralization
3. Color removal process in which color-coding substances are removed from unrefined oil
4. Winterization (or dewaxing) of the sunflower oil
5. Refining and deodorization. It allows getting high-quality oil practically without smell and color due to the purification of unrefined cold-pressed sunflower oil from various impurities of pigments and waxy substances.
The bottling and packing department includes equipment for producing PET containers from 0.5L to 10L using automatic blow molding machines. Then formed bottles go to the filling line.
Filled bottles go to the line of packing, capping, labeling, date stamping, and then packed into the boxes. To cover our customer’s needs from different markets, we use flexible bottling lines with a large production capacity and adaptive bottle design. Therefore, we can adapt to any packaging and labeling of our customer request. We upgrade the retail sunflower oil business for our customers to have advantages over local competitors in pricing, bottle engraving, and design.
